Data Analyst

Grade Level (for internal use): 07 The Role:   As a Data Analyst in Key Developments, the main task would be to extract, scrutinize and standardize the essential financial and non-financial data relevant to mergers & acquisition, spin-offs, earning releases, dividends, key happenings, personnel/hierarchy data, which is then provided to our clients in the form of a formulated end product for S&P Global. You will work on various press releases and company documents to collect information & generate meaningful consensus from the collected data. This effort is coupled with real time monitoring of global industry trade publications and websites/news aggregators.     Location: This position is based in Hyderabad, India.

Transforms raw data into usable intelligence and provides data for making decisions with conviction. Operates from India (Hyderabad & Ahmedabad) and Pakistan (Islamabad) locations and works 24/6 to deliver data in timely fashion. Reviewing feedback on abstracts/tasks to minimize errors and help establish refined procedures and processes to improve accuracy falls under the job description as well. Keeping up-to-date in the knowledge of content sets and building industry knowledge is vital for career growth.
