In the role of Physical Security Operations Specialist, working in Golden, Colorado, you will be part of the corporate security team and support the daily operations of the physical security program in the Golden Valley. You are responsible for contract security management, coordinating security systems, vendor management, access control administration, reporting, and compliance activities.
You will report to the Manager Regional Physical Security - West and work closely with stakeholders on incident responses, investigations, and ensures smooth execution of security procedures.
What You'll Be Brewing
• Coordinate with third-party security providers to ensure coverage and service quality.
• Maintain documentation for audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate service requests, repairs, and upgrades with vendors and facilities teams.
• Administer employee and contractor access credentials in accordance with company policies.
• Manage key control systems, including issuing, tracking, secure storage of lock components, and auditing physical keys.
• Perform or coordinate locksmith services such as rekeying locks, installing hardware, and troubleshooting access issues.
• Assist in planning and executing security-related projects and initiatives.
• Support investigations by gathering evidence, reviewing footage, and preparing reports.
Key Ingredients
• You have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or security management or equivalent work experience in a related field. PSP, CPP, First Aid, CPR certifications are preferred.
• You have at least one year of experience in physical security, facilities coordination, or operations support.
• You have experience managing third party security teams in a manufacturing environment.
• You are familiar with access control systems, video surveillance platforms, and key management protocols.
• You have strong organizational and communication skills.
• You can handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• You have experience with locksmithing services: key cutting, coring, hardware installation, and troubleshooting
