Join Collins Aerospace as a Systems Engineer I at the Global Engineering & Technology Center in Puerto Rico (GETC-PR), and work with the Resilient Connectivity Products Engineering division, a Mission Systems organization that helps civilian, military and government customers complete their most complex missions — whatever and wherever they may be. In this role, you will focus mainly on Verification and Validation (V&V) testing and support multidisciplinary projects. In V&V work you will play a critical role in laboratory testing of current and new features of Collins Aerospace radio products. Relocation is not offered.
What YOU will do
Run test procedures for radio products or associated ancillary equipment to verify or validate equipment functionality. Create test reports, identify and document equipment issues, communicate with the design team about equipment performance and improvements. Create or update test procedures and documentation part of the lifecycle development of the units under test. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers for projects development, strengthening systems engineering skills.

Qualifications you must have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements development, design, integration, verification, validation, and technical documentation Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written). U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance after start date.
