Standard Job Description You will be a Mechanical Engineer for the Pod program team. Our team is responsible for designing and improving manufacturing processes to make production more reliable, efficient, and cost-effective, and providing engineering support to the production floor. Basic Qualifications -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/combined education -Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and detailed specifications -Ability to create statement of work for tooling based on requirements -Ability to work independently with limited oversight -Ability to create and maintain work instructions -Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail to create high-quality work products Desired Skills -Experience setting up a production line -Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME/ANSI Y14.5) -Proficient with MS Office software suite -Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, PTC Creo, or Solid Works 3D CAD software -Knowledgeable of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in a manufacturing environment -Knowledgeable of tool design, fabrication, and implementation -Knowledgeable of engineering materials Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $76700.00 - $142500.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
