Job Title Cost Accountant Job Description Cost Accountant: Make a direct impact on manufacturing performance by ensuring production costs are accurately reflected in financial results and providing insights that support operational decision-making Your role: Analyze and monitor production costs, providing insights that support effective financial and operational decision-making. Review the financial performance of production orders and evaluate standard versus actual costs to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Contribute to month-end close activities, including financial reviews and cost-related reclassifications, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Partner with Production Managers, plant supervisors and coordinators, manufacturing teams in Costa Rica to maintain accurate financial records and support business objectives. Support new product cost estimates, assess the financial impact of process or product changes, and track cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvement projects. You're the right fit if: You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in Cost Accounting within a manufacturing or production environment. Your skills include cost accounting, financial analysis of manufacturing operations, standard and actual cost analysis, financial close processes, and SAP. You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or an equivalent field. You have intermediate English proficiency (written and oral). You’re a collaborative professional who can effectively partner with cross-functional teams across Finance and Manufacturing. How we work together We believe that we are better together than apart.
