As a Reliability Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our world-class manufacturing assets continue to perform at their very best, helping to drive operational excellence across one of the most advanced production facilities in Europe. What to expect: As a Reliability Engineer, you will be a key member of the Engineering team, partnering closely with the Asset Care Planner, Production teams and Engineering leadership to maximise equipment reliability, performance and efficiency. This is a highly visible role where you'll combine technical expertise, data-driven decision making and stakeholder collaboration to improve asset performance across a 24/7 manufacturing operation. Key responsibilities include: Developing and delivering long-term asset care strategies, including major overhauls and lifecycle planning. Leading reliability improvement activities using condition-based maintenance, failure analysis and best practice reliability methodologies. Using asset performance data, OEM expertise and operational insight to identify and eliminate recurring equipment failures. Managing maintenance and repair budgets within your area of responsibility, ensuring cost-effective asset performance. Leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and ensuring sustainable corrective actions are implemented and measured. Supporting capital investment projects, new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives. Coaching and developing technicians to build technical capability and drive team performance. Ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient management of spare parts and inventory. Partnering with Production teams to analyse performance losses, improve reliability KPIs and maximise line efficiency. Acting as a visible champion for Safety, Quality and Environmental standards, ensuring compliance for both employees and contractors. Skills & Essentials: We're looking for a proactive engineering professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and driving continuous improvement in a high-performance manufacturing environment. Essential NVQ Level 3 Mechanical or Electrical qualification (or equivalent). Strong understanding of the distinction between maintenance activities and reliability engineering principles.
