Raytheon’s Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) Strategic Business Unit is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead our C-130 Multispectral Targeting System (MTS-A) portfolio. This role calls for a dynamic leader eager to operate within a fast-moving, evolving, and strategic portfolio for U.S. Air Force, Aircraft Prime and International Partner. The C‑130 Program area encompasses Engineering Services responsible for logistics and sustainment support, DMSMS/obsolescence management, hardware and software upgrades, and leading the production transition and retrofit of the C‑130 fleet to the MTS‑A HD configuration. The successful candidate will lead through strong cross-functional engagement, partnering closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Development to shape emerging requirements and execute programs with rigor. A demonstrated ability to manage financial performance, including cost, schedule, margin, and investment trade-offs, is essential, along with growing the portfolio through both legacy systems and new product introductions. This position is based onsite in McKinney, TX.
What You Will Do
Lead the USAF C-130 Program execution across multiple contract types, ensuring performance across cost, schedule, technical, quality, and contractual commitments Act as the primary C-130 USAF Customer Point of Contact Accountability for profit and loss, AOP, and financial metrics for the portfolio Directs the cross-functional team supporting the product line to meet established targets and metrics Identifies and reacts to problems and supports solutions, such as allocation of resources and operational execution Acts as the organization’s representative to interface with key internal and external stakeholders to present a positive image of the company Manage and grow the customer relationship and ensure customer satisfaction Supports annual 5-year LRP, monthly forecast and weekly SRO efforts for the business Lead proposal and negotiation activities with domestic customers, industry partners and suppliers Prepare, revise, update, and monitor required documentation and analysis in compliance with contract requirements and Raytheon’s Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM) Develop executable program plans, manage transition risks, and drive consistent, predictable execution Present program data and critical issues to APS, EOIRS, and mission area leadership Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
