Job Summary: Lead the deployment of regional strategy and operational excellence initiatives, ensuring business objectives are translated into actionable plans, performance gaps are identified and addressed through structured problem solving, and Ball Operational Excellence (BOE) systems, standards, and capabilities continue to evolve to deliver sustainable business results. Key Responsibilities:
Lead regional target-setting and performance alignment activities, partnering with stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and execute actions that close performance gaps and support strategic objectives. Collaborate with key stakeholders from finance and other functional departments to develop and execute pre-annual and annual operating plans (AOP) that are aligned with business objectives and financial goals, driving cross-functional Oversee the inputs and execution of the 1YP to ensure targets align with the AOP and strategic objectives are incorporated, while proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and countermeasures to support plan attainment. Utilize BOE principles and other lean methodologies to lead continuous improvement efforts that eliminate losses and improve Safety, Cost, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity performance. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and relevance in dashboards through regular updates, data validation, and trend Develop, improve, and maintain dashboards in Excel, Power BI, and other reporting systems to provide actionable insights, identify performance gaps, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and manage the operational performance tracking process, ensuring timely data extraction and accuracy. Coordinate data closure activities to guarantee completeness and accuracy for global, regional, production group, and Own the BOE tracking system and performance review cadence, ensuring performance gaps are identified, root causes are understood, and effective countermeasures are implemented. Lead the standardization, development, and continuous improvement of BOE tools, templates, and training materials to strengthen problem-solving capability and drive consistent execution across the organization.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or related field 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated skill in
Management and leadership of teams Delivering results through influencing and motivating others Analytical thinking and problem-solving Lean methodologies Change managment Project management and problem-solving concepts Excellent computer literacy skills, specifcially Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of
Financial awareness with basic P+L experience Lean methodologies and Hoshin planning Utilizing data to make informed decisions, Managing multip and sizeable projects across multiple geographies Working with cross-cultural and cross-functional teams
Compensation & Benefits
Expected Hiring Salary Range: $115,000 - $164,300 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
