Schedule: Full time, 3 days, 36 hours per week Location : 133 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215 Primary Responsibilities: Perform routine and advanced CT procedures using appropriate protocols to aid physicians in the diagnosis of disease Provide compassionate, patient centered care and clear procedure explanations Start IVs and administer contrast safely; monitor patients throughout exams Optimize image quality using ALARA principles and perform basic post processing Verify orders, document in Epic and ensure timely PACS uploads Support STAT and urgent add on cases Follow radiation safety, infection control, and Optum policies Maintain room readiness and assist with equipment troubleshooting Perform duties of radiologic technologists as required You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited institution or governmental unit Radiation Control license as a CT Technologist in Massachusetts Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) CPR certification 3+ years of experience in CT Technology and cardiac exams in fast-paced outpatient settings Preferred Qualifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty Ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems requiring the use of basic technical principles plus in-depth, experienced-based knowledge Good communication skills in order to explain instructions and procedures to patients, visitors and employees, to comfort patients and their families and to conduct formal classroom training programs Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
