You will drive high-impact industrialisation improvements and play a pivotal part in exciting new aircraft development programs within a dynamic production environment. By partnering seamlessly across Design, Manufacturing, and the Supply Chain, you will champion material innovation and ensure world-class quality from initial selection to final assembly. HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM Support with Materials and Processes (M&P) activities within a fast-paced production environment. Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges related to M&P technologies. Drive continuous product improvements across parts and assemblies to optimize manufacturing costs and elevate quality. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering to streamline processes and align M&P operational goals. Guide material selection and act as the central M&P subject matter expert advising Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams. Cultivate robust stakeholder relationships across key internal functions, including Design, Procurement, and Supply Chain Quality. Play a pivotal role in future aircraft development programs and strategic industrialisation improvement projects.
ABOUT YOU
It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided to demonstrate how they meet essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes. Essential We are looking for an engineer with experience in M&P, and knowledge of (but not limited to) composite materials, metallic materials, assembly processes (including composite repairs) or chemical and environmental technologies. A BSc/BEng degree with a minimum of 3 years' relevant M&P engineering experience. OR A relevant engineering qualification, such as HNC or HND and a minimum of 5 years' relevant M&P engineering experience Experience to technically support M&P qualifications and developments. Ability to technically support projects in an interdisciplinary environment across different levels of hierarchy. Demonstrated networking skills and technical leadership in collaboration with internal or external partners, with a positive approach to problem solving.
