Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Banking Service Banker who will serve as a subject matter expert and informal team leader within the Commercial Banking Services organization. This individual will help support daily workflow operations, mentor team members, and act as a key resource for complex client servicing needs.
Core Responsibilities
Support commercial banking clients with advanced service requests and issue resolution. Serve as a subject matter expert on treasury management products and services. Assist with workflow coordination and team organization. Provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance to team members. Support onboarding and training of new employees. Handle escalated client situations and complex servicing issues. Promote operational excellence and consistency across the team. Partner with the Team Lead to maintain day-to-day operations. Act as a backup resource during Team Lead absences. Support continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Significant banking experience. Commercial banking experience. Knowledge of ACH, wires, Positive Pay, and treasury management services. Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading others. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority. Strong problem-solving and escalation management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Team Lead, SME, trainer, or mentor experience. Leadership development experience. Treasury Management experience. Internal U.S. Bank experience. Demonstrated career progression toward leadership roles. Experience supporting commercial banking operations at a senior level.
