 Join Our Team as an Avionics System Design Engineer and become a member of the Targets and Countermeasures (TCP) Avionics team. What does this role look like? The TCP Program is experiencing significant growth, and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence. As an Avionics Design Engineer, you will support the development of Avionics Packages for multiple target Reentry Vehicles and Electrical Support Equipment.   Key activities you will accomplish in this role: Work on a cross-functional team in the development and integration of world class avionics systems. Develop and support electrical system designs for flight vehicles. Provide technical oversight of system electrical/electronics products and subsystems.. Perform avionics component selection and support trade studies for avionics selection. Perform electrical reviews and analyses for existing and new designs. Provide support to system level testing, troubleshooting and resolution of test anomalies Generate, review and present Avionics Product Certifications To be effective in this role, you will need: Experience with selection of electronics/avionics components (trade studies, etc.) Experience in hardware troubleshooting with focus on determining root cause and corrective action BS or higher or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or related field 5+ years professional experience. Must have an active DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen. Basic Qualifications 
 BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field Experience in electronics/avionics system design for tactical or flight applications Experience with selection of electronics/avionics components (trade studies, etc.) Significant experience in methodical hardware troubleshooting with focus on determining root cause and corrective action Experience working with electronics/avionics suppliers on design and troubleshooting Ability to prepare and present technical review and troubleshooting data to program leadership and customer Desired Skills 
 Experience providing electrical/electronic support for production and test activities Experience with radio frequency (RF) design and testing Experience with in-flight or other telemetry systems Lockheed Martin Material Review Board certification or equivalent highly desired Lockheed Martin Certified Principal Engineer experience and current training highly desired Experience supporting supplier hardware qualification, especially for flight environments Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
