Temporary Medical Records Clerk Opportunity - Pembroke Hospital is a 120-bed acute care, inpatient behavioral health facility located south of Boston, in Pembroke, MA. Situated on 26 acres, we offer inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment to teens, adults and older adults, and our services are designed to assess, stabilize, and treat patients by addressing their primary symptoms and problems. Website: https://www.pembrokehospital.com/ The Medical Records Clerk processes requests for release of medical record information, assuring the confidentiality of medical records. The individual in this role will process requests for forms and medical records from patient unit and support the Medical Record Department by performing various clerical functions and assuring smooth functioning of daily departmental operations. This is a temporary position working 8 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Preparing charts for patient discharge process. Setting up medical records for newly admitted patients. Facilitating completion of required documents in patient record Following established guidelines for handling patient legal status issues and court documents. Qualifications
