Job Description

Details of the Division and Team eDiscovery Services is a global capability within the Chief Data Office under the Technology, Data and Innovation Division. It identifies, preserves, collects and securely delivers electronically stored information for litigation, regulatory matters, investigations, employment cases and other authorised requests across Microsoft 365, compliance archives, voice, structured applications, devices and file repositories. Operating across Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Investigations, Data Privacy and Technology, the team provides a controlled and defensible service that protects data integrity and enables timely responses to legal and regulatory obligations. The Vice President will lead eDiscovery service delivery in Singapore and across APAC as required, combining end-to-end matter oversight with stakeholder management, risk and control ownership, operational governance, technology enablement and continuous improvement. Define defensible scope: Advise on custodians, sources, date ranges, search criteria, proportionality, privacy, cost and timelines; challenge unclear requirements and document decisions. Own delivery: Set plans, priorities, dependencies and escalation routes for high-risk or time-critical matters, coordinating regional and global teams, technology partners and vendors. Maintain defensibility and control: Ensure validated, reproducible methods, chain-of-custody, quality evidence and audit trails; identify risks, control gaps and data-quality issues and oversee remediation. Strengthen governance and performance: Support service forums, accountability, policies, management information and decision records, using SLA, quality, capacity, demand, backlog and cost measures to improve outcomes. Enable technology change: Represent eDiscovery needs in new applications, archive migrations and platform enhancements, assessing retention, discoverability, search, export, metadata, processing and review readiness. Manage technology and sensitive data: Apply sound judgement across Microsoft Purview, Relativity and related platforms while meeting legal, privacy, banking-secrecy, information-security and cross-border obligations. Lead improvement and people: Coach colleagues, promote consistent global practices and advance the operating model, automation and standardisation to strengthen resilience, control and scalability. Your skills and experience: Degree or equivalent professional experience in technology, law, information governance, digital forensics, data management or a related discipline. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in eDiscovery, investigations technology, legal technology, digital forensics, information governance or enterprise data services, preferably in financial or professional services. Strong knowledge of the eDiscovery lifecycle, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review support, production, quality control, chain-of-custody and defensibility. Experience leading complex, sensitive or time-critical legal, regulatory and investigative matters in a highly controlled organisation. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Purview eDiscovery,
