The Mobile Mechanic Team Lead position is a full-time, hourly position and reports to the Dryside Maintenance Supervisor. Why You Should Join Our Team: High Performing , Safety Driven Culture Additional $3.00 pay rate adder for weekends Career development opportunities 401K match + an additional contribution from the company Full medical, dental and vision benefits Key Functions: - Plan, develop, manage, and provide effective leadership for the Mobile maintenance team - Ensure the safety of all associates by identifying safety issues and taking measures to proactively address concerns - Actively supervise and develop the Mobile maintenance team to ensure effective communication across and between shifts, and with the production teams - Utilize preventive maintenance systems to reduce unscheduled downtime - Efficiently use reliable troubleshooting methods to ensure rolling stock uptime. - Effectively utilize training resources to maximize team technical skills - Use computerized maintenance management systems to support effective prioritization of maintenance requests, i nventory, and delegate maintenance resources - Lead team meetings and training - Identify safety, reliability, environmental, quality and production issues - Maximize equipment uptime by pre-ordering parts, scheduling maintenance and total system coordination with leads & supervisors, track/capture warranty issues, communicate well with a variety of vendors via phone/email - Implement and continuously improve Predictive Maintenance Program for individual machines - Reduce waste and take measures to proactively address all concerns - Proactively resolve employee issues, build teamwork, and ensure adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner
