About the team and the role: eBay, Inc. seeks MTS 1, Software Engineer in Bellevue, WA  What you will accomplish:  Job Duties: Assist in the development and deployment of eBay iOS apps. Analyze requirements prepare design, and develop robust, scalable software systems using object-oriented programming. Design functional and technical solutions using behavior-driven-development and test-driven-development. Maintain clean code and high-tier software craftsmanship. Coordinate testing at all levels (unit, integration, User Interface, and Acceptance) refactoring to enhance testability and re-usability. Utilize and enhance statistical analytical tools in support of continuous delivery and integration of developed products. Drive architecture discussions, produce well-documented design docs, and participate in design and code reviews. Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, refactoring, standards, and improving build and test systems. Identify project risks, quantify risk/benefit relationships, and provide alternative solutions as well as risk mitigation, planning, retrospectives, story writing and tasking, and training/coaching. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or a closely related field plus six years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. REST API Proficiency (6 years) Salary: $212,202.00-290,500.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.  Additional Details Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
