Primary Responsibilities
Program Leadership: Drive cross-team planning, execution, governance, and delivery coordination for federated chatbot capabilities across UHC Member Journey engineering teams Conversational AI Federation: Partner with engineering, product, and platform teams to establish common adoption patterns, intake processes, implementation guidance, and operating rhythms for chatbot capabilities across member digital journeys Journey Team Alignment: Coordinate across engineering teams that support all UHC Member journeys to ensure chatbot-related work is sequenced, prioritized, and delivered in alignment with shared business and member experience goals Roadmap & Dependency Management: Maintain visibility into chatbot-related roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, risks, and decision points across multiple teams and workstreams Delivery Management: Maintain integrated program plans, track progress, manage risks and issues, support escalation paths, and ensure teams have visibility into timelines, blockers, and key decisions Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication and alignment across engineering, product, architecture, platform, design, legal, compliance, privacy, operations, analytics, and business partners Backlog & Requirements Support: Collaborate with product owners, engineering leads, and platform partners to translate chatbot capability needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery milestones in tools such as Rally and Aha! Technical Fluency: Develop a working understanding of chatbot platforms, APIs, integration patterns, authentication, routing, escalation flows, analytics, monitoring, and operational support needs Operational Readiness: Support readiness planning for reliability, performance, monitoring, incident management, reporting, accessibility, support processes, and member experience quality Responsible Use & Compliance: Partner with security, privacy, legal, and compliance teams to ensure chatbot capabilities follow enterprise standards for PII, data handling, consent, auditability, accessibility, and responsible technology use Change Management & Enablement: Help engineering teams adopt federated chatbot capabilities through documentation, enablement materials, governance forums, delivery playbooks, and repeatable processes Leadership: Influence stakeholders across engineering and business teams, resolve ambiguity, escalate issues appropriately, and help create a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).
