Job Description & Summary The FCU Technology team at PwC Polska includes over 100 IT specialists. The financial services industry operates in a challenging environment due to global economic pressures, increasing regulatory and capital requirements, and significant operational and technological changes. As FCU Technology, we provide innovative technological solutions, data analytics and consulting services for global PwC clients, responding to key challenges in the area of Anti Financial Crime (Anti Money Laundering, Combating Terrorism Financing, Fraud Risk Management, FATCA and implementation of financial sanctions, etc.). We are looking for: Solution Architect As a Solution Architect, you'll work as part of a cross-functional Technology team with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our Clients and project teams solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. In this role, we need a person who can own the technical direction of a strategic PwC platform supporting financial crime compliance processes, working closely with senior stakeholders, agile development teams, testers and DevOps engineers to ensure successful delivery and continuous improvement. Your future role: Designing new functionalities within an existing, continuously evolving platform used internally and externally by our clients, Owning and evolving the target architecture, including the cloud-native and SaaS transformation roadmap, Preparing architecture decision records, solution design documents and technical specifications for development teams, Defining non-functional requirements including scalability, performance, availability and observability, and verifying that delivered solutions meet them, Designing for multi-tenancy, data isolation and regulatory compliance from the start, Setting and enforcing technical standards, patterns and reference implementations across development teams, Acting as technical design authority, reviewing designs and key implementations delivered by the teams, Evaluating and selecting technologies, cloud services and third-party integrations, including their cost impact, Supporting business stakeholders in reviewing and validating business requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, feasible and aligned with product objectives, Designing APIs and integration contracts for internal services as well as external, client-facing integrations, Running proofs of concept and technical spikes to de-risk major changes, Managing technical debt and driving modernization of legacy components, Providing insight into the development process and technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders. Apply if you have: At least 8 years of professional experience in senior IT roles, including at least 4 years as a Solution Architect, Deep knowledge of the .NET stack at architecture level, Strong, practical experience with public cloud in a PaaS model, preferably Microsoft Azure, Experience in designing distributed, scalable systems delivered in a SaaS model, Experience in working with non-technical, business-oriented product owners and managers, Experience in working with development teams including developers, testers and DevOps engineers, Ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams, Ability to oversee and take ownership of the full software development life cycle, High level of self-organization, Very good communication skills in English (C1) and Polish, Strong interpersonal and soft skills essential in day-to-day cooperation with clients and the team, You demonstrate knowledge of new technologies and AI-based tools in your daily work (e.g. task automation, information analysis, content creation).
