 Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking a motivated entry-level Circuit Design Engineer to join our growing hardware engineering team. MFC is a recognized designer, developer, and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to develop hands-on circuit card design skills in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

What You Will Be Doing

The Associate Circuit Design Engineer will support the design, development, and testing of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) across a variety of defense programs. Responsibilities may include:  • Assisting in the development and review of circuit card schematics, interface definitions, and design documentation • Supporting circuit simulation and analysis using tools such as Cadence PSpice or equivalent • Learning and applying schematic capture tools such as Siemens Xpedition Enterprise for CCA design entry • Assisting with circuit card bring-up, integration, and laboratory testing, including data collection and performance characterization • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, software, electromechanical, and manufacturing, to support design integration • Supporting trade studies, design reviews, technical documentation, and the Design Assurance process • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including requirements packages, test procedures, and design reports This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced circuit design professionals and gain exposure to cutting-edge defense technology. Candidates may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Basic Qualifications 
 • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM field from an accredited university. • Coursework or foundational knowledge in circuit design, electronics, digital logic, or similar electrical areas of study. • Fundamental understanding of electronic components, engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, circuit card assembly concepts, etc. • Familiarity with circuit simulation tools (e.g., PSpice, LTspice) or similar schematic capture tools. • Must be a US citizen; must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance. Desired Skills 
 • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply theoretical concepts to practical circuit design problems • Effective communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams • Familiarity with PCB layout concepts and design-for-manufacturability principles • Experience with MATLAB or similar analysis tools • Participation in engineering projects, internships, or academic labs related to electronic circuit design • Familiarity with military standards and specifications (e.g., MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704) • Basic understanding of FPGA concepts and hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL) • Familiarity with Windchill. • Familiarity with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, etc.) Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $67000.00 - $124400.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
