Receiving Coordinator
At Philip Morris International (PMI), we are transforming our business to deliver a smoke-free future. We are seeking a Receiving Coordinator to help ensure materials are received accurately, safely, and on time to support production.
Your Day-to-Day
• Coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials, packaging, maintenance, repair and operations supplies, and other materials.
• Verify receiving documents and maintain accurate transactions in enterprise resource planning and warehouse management systems.
• Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, damaged shipments, and inventory issues.
• Partner with Procurement, Planning, Quality, Warehouse, Production, and Transportation teams to support material availability.
• Coordinate with suppliers and carriers regarding delivery schedules, shipment concerns, and documentation.
• Support cycle counts, inventory audits, reconciliation activities, and material traceability.
• Maintain compliance with quality, regulatory, inventory control, and safety requirements.
• Analyze receiving and inventory data to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
• Promote safe work practices, 5S standards, and an organized receiving environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
Who We’re Looking For
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• One to two years of experience in receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning, inventory management, or warehouse management systems and material movement processes.
• Strong understanding of receiving, inventory control, reconciliation, and material flow principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Manufacturing experience and knowledge of cycle counting, root cause analysis, and inventory audits preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Annual Base Salary Range
$53,600 - $67,000
