Raytheon is looking for a RF Electrical Engineer who can effectively work with our team of experts within the Airborne Radar Electronics Receiver / Exciter Hardware Design Group in El Segundo, CA .
What You Will Do
Circuit analysis, circuit simulation, design, documentation, trade assessments for obsolescence resolution, troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration, test and verification Work as part of a team design Special Test Equipment (STE) Hardware and Software Testing Microwave RF circuits, Radio Frequency Assemblies (RFAs), Microwave Integrated Circuits (MICs), Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMAs), Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) & Production support Work as part of a team to analyze hardware specifications to determine hardware requirements Develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity and efficiency enhancements. Interact with test technicians, factory facilitators, operations managers, other engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date. Courses taken includes RF and Microwave Circuit Design Qualifications We Prefer Electrical Circuit Testing and Troubleshooting: Experience in testing and diagnosing issues in electrical circuits to ensure optimal performance and functionality. Laboratory Equipment Proficiency: Skilled in operating standard electrical engineering lab equipment, including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Power Meters. Design and Simulation Software: Proficient in using industry-standard design tools such as Keysight ADS, Sonnet EM, Ansys HFSS, AutoCAD, and comparable platforms for circuit design and electromagnetic simulation. Programming and Software Development: Hands-on experience with software tools and programming languages, including C, C++, LabWindows CVI, and Matlab, for automation, data analysis, and engineering applications.

The salary range for this role is 62,900 USD - 119,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
