About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Corporate Banking Analyst to join the Industrials Portfolio Management Team within Corporate and Investment Banking. The Analyst will be focused on supporting the credit underwriting and portfolio monitoring of Wells Fargo’s Industrials portfolio. In this role, you will: Perform detailed credit underwriting, financial statement analysis, industry analysis, and projection modeling to ensure accurate and timely monitoring of assigned portfolio Partner with senior portfolio managers and assigned deal teams on the preparation of credit memorandums Prepare discussion material for internal presentations with leadership and risk partners Support client needs related to credit and related products Completion of ad-hoc borrower and/or portfolio analysis Apply credit policies and procedures and incorporate requirements into credit analysis, observations, and recommendations Assist with deal closings Collaborate and consult with peers, internal partners, stakeholders, and senior bankers Complete periodic professional development training as scheduled Required Qualifications: 6+ months of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Undergraduate degree (Business, Finance, Economics, Geoscience, Engineering or similar) from a four-year accredited college or university Understanding of corporate finance principles and capital structuring issues Strong financial modeling, credit, accounting and technical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Experience reviewing, checking or supervising the work of junior team members Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated excellence in working effectively as an individual and as part of a team Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic, fast paced and complex environment High level of initiative and accountability Collaborative mindset and ability to work with team members who are in different locations Ability to act with integrity, good character and exercise sound judgement Job Expectations: Visa sponsorship is not available Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. FINRA Series 63 and 79 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required.   This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check.
