About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Markets Product delivery lead to driving new product roll outs, optimize and execute on the end-to-end onboarding process for capital markets clients trading Cash Fixed Income, FX, Rates, Credit and REPO products. This role will assist the sales team and operate within the COO CLM Group, established to address current needs and anticipated expansion. In this role, you will: Drive new Markets product roll out within the APAC region liaising with Global Client delivery and product partners Collaborate with the Sales teams and Clients to oversee the process of being on-boarded, set priorities and regularly update the Sales team, COO, Clients, the Negotiation team, and effectively collaborate with all partner Operations teams. Liaise with the Sales team, Relationship Managers, clients, or external advisors to ensure the accurate and timely procurement of essential agreements and documentation for seamless transition to the Operations and Negotiation teams Act as the primary liaison for onboarding activities, managing detailed client onboarding checklists and tracking key milestones. Identify onboarding bottlenecks and drive scalable process and communication improvements across regional delivery. Provide critical onboarding metrics to business management for review and decision-making. Deliver high standards of client service while ensuring that all internal (Risk) and external (Compliance) standards and requirements are met. Escalate and remediate issues effectively, applying sound risk judgement in line with governance, risk appetite and compliance requirements. Navigate the Wells Fargo organization, across divisions, to deliver timely and accurate issue resolution to complex, business critical issues which may include communication with senior stakeholders within Ops and the Business Unit Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration or a related field Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important. Strong understanding of capital markets, financial instruments, fund structures and client onboarding documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders. 8+ years of client onboarding experience across KYC, CDD, regulatory due diligence, account opening and maintenance within wholesale banking or capital markets. Strong Knowledge of the banking regulatory reporting rules and regulations including FINRA, Qualified Financial Contracts, Dodd Frank regulations, MiFID, EMIR and APAC jurisdictional requirements like Singapore / Hong Kong / Japan Classification etc., Knowledge of onboarding documentation including KYC, CDD, EDD, AML, Tax, regulatory, ISDA, CDEA and GMRA documentation. Adaptability to rapidly changing business environments and client requirements. Well versed in the in the intricacies of Investment Managers and fund trading and its impact on KYC processes including set up across different jurisdictions Extensive experience of onboarding different client types: Financial Institutions particularly Investment Manager clients / Funds, Banks, Corporates, SPVs.
