A day in the life of a Principal Product Manager, Group Reporting at VF looks a little like this. The Principal Product Manager, Group Reporting is responsible for defining and delivering VF's enterprise financial consolidation and external reporting capabilities through SAP Group Reporting. This role will lead the transition from legacy consolidation processes, establish a centralized reporting model, and provide a single source of truth for global financial reporting and compliance. Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. Product Ownership Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for SAP Group Reporting. Build and maintain a multi-year product roadmap supporting financial consolidation and statutory reporting requirements. Establish product success metrics focused on close efficiency, reporting accuracy, and compliance. Financial Consolidation & Reporting Lead implementation of: Group Consolidation Legal Entity Reporting Intercompany Eliminations Consolidated Financial Statements Management Reporting Regulatory and Statutory Reporting Support replacement of legacy BPC consolidation capabilities. Drive parallel-run validation and readiness activities before production deployment. Stakeholder Engagement Partner with Corporate Accounting, SEC Reporting, Finance Operations, Internal Audit, and regional Controllers. Facilitate global design workshops and alignment across regions and brands. Ensure reporting requirements are standardized globally. Governance & Controls Ensure compliance with SOX, audit, and regulatory requirements. Support and operationalize reporting governance frameworks and consolidation controls in partnership with Finance and Internal Audit stakeholders. Lead data reconciliation initiatives and issue resolution processes. Product Delivery & Adoption Manage vendor, implementation partner, and internal delivery teams. Drive testing, change management, training, and organizational readiness. Measure business outcomes and continuously improve reporting processes. What do you need to succeed? Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 8+ years of experience and professional achievements. The foundation skills you will need in this position are: 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise consolidation and financial reporting solutions. Expertise in SAP Group Reporting, BPC Consolidation, or similar EPM platforms. S/4 HANA Strong understanding of corporate accounting, consolidation, and financial close processes. Experience supporting publicly traded company reporting requirements. Demonstrated success leading workstreams or product delivery efforts within global technology implementations.
