Warehouse Material Handler (1st Shift, Earle M. This position falls under the Plant job family and includes responsibilities related to metals processing and distribution within the company. The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for pulling, filling, cutting orders, and handling inventory and shipping tasks. The role requires basic equipment operation and practical knowledge of materials, facilities, and operations used in metals distribution. Job Function Essential Job Duties   •Move inventory or equipment, fill customer orders, pull material from racks, unload incoming material, load trucks and customer vehicles, and maintain the warehouse. •Receive and return items into stock locations. •Read and decipher work orders; verify heat numbers and material specifications. •Operate cranes, forklifts, side loaders, yard trucks, saws, and other heavy equipment as required. •Place materials into storage or remove them for order fulfillment. •Tag material for identification and complete documentation. •Sort and place materials by size, type, or product code. •Coordinate with team to ensure efficient and safe machine and equipment operations. •Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. •Perform spot checks on inventory and restock materials as needed. •Drive company vehicle for local deliveries and parts pick-up (non-DOT).   Physical Requirements / Work Environment   This role is classified as Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.   Warehouse/Field setting; minimal temperature environment.
