About this role
The Amazon Privacy team is on a mission to make it easy for Amazon teams to meet customer expectations and regulatory obligations when it comes to taking care of their personal data. As a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) for privacy governance, you will define, own and deliver technical programs focused on improving the builder experience for teams across Amazon. Your program will define, measure, track and drive builder-facing outcomes that eliminate effort while improving customer and compliance outcomes. You will partner with engineering teams in the US and Romania who own the underlying systems and tools, and collaborate with them to invent new approaches with a heavy focus on leveraging GenAI. Privacy is a fascinating, fast-moving and ever-changing area - there's still many opportunities for invention and innovation ahead of us.
About the team
We own software products that identify, implement and monitor "privacy expectations" - the work needed to meet customer privacy obligations in all the marketplaces that Amazon operates. Our wider org owns privacy, responsible AI and security compliance outcomes for the company with a mix of engineering, product and industry specialists.
