Administrator of new programs, including product launches, transfers, and engineering changes, from the planning, prototype, launch, and post-launch stages. Responsibilities
Engineering Change Coordination. Scheduling, coordination, submission, and follow-up with customers on try-outs for engineering change approval. Lead of the LPMP-PROFILE process. Organizes Gateway Review meetings for the Prototype, Pilot, Launch, and Post-Launch phases. Launch Coordinator for new programs and transfer projects.
Primary contact between the platform and the customer for the implementation of engineering changes. Coordinates and assigns activities to the various support departments for the execution of engineering changes.
Responsible for the pre-launch phases, including Planning, Prototype, and Pilot. Evaluates program launches and potential risks, reporting findings to senior management through the RYG (Red-Yellow-Green) status report. Acts as the point of contact with suppliers to resolve issues that may arise during the launch phase of a program. Communicates customer requirements and special events during the product design evaluation and development process, as well as engineering changes requested by the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Ensures compliance with responsibilities outlined in procedures that incorporate the requirements of the IATF 16949 , ISO 9001 , and ISO 14001 standards governing the Quality Management System. Has the responsibility and authority to stop production due to quality-related issues.
