About this role
Scopely is looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our MONOPOLY GO! Game team in Barcelona hub on a hybrid basis (3X week in office).
At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play, every day - whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues, or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.
MONOPOLY GO! is a global phenomenon and the biggest mobile game launch in history, captivating millions of players worldwide.
What You Will Do
Join the team responsible for keeping MONOPOLY GO!'s live minigames accurate, reliable, and ready for players. You will help coordinate recurring events from planning and implementation through playtesting, release readiness, and post-event learning, while building the product judgment to take on broader responsibilities over time.
• Oversee the operational health of live-minigame cycles, maintaining transparency across milestones, ownership, and potential project blockers.
• Facilitate rigorous playtesting sessions; documenting findings, managing defect triage, and ensuring all critical regressions are resolved.
• Audit final configurations against technical specifications to identify discrepancies and finalize pending decisions prior to deployment.
• Drive cross-functional synchronization between Engineering, Design, Art, to ensure seamless event execution.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of strategic choices and project velocity to foster team alignment and clarity.
• Support launch readiness by preempting risks and refining operational workflows through rigorous post-release analysis.
Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline evidence comparison and documentation while ensuring the integrity of project outputs.
What We're Looking For
• Authentic enthusiasm for the mobile gaming landscape and a desire to understand the mechanics behind maintaining long-term game integrity and engagement.
• Proven background in operations, product, design, or analytics, developed through professional roles, academic projects, or significant practical application.
• Meticulous precision and execution, capable of auditing features from initial documentation to final release to ensure absolute consistency.
• Intellectual curiosity and a systems-oriented mindset; you seek to master new platforms and address core issues rather than surface-level fixes.
• Proactive communication skills to highlight discrepancies, define ownership, and advocate for resolution when launch readiness is threatened.
• Articulate delivery and the capacity to synchronize efforts across diverse functional groups and shifting project timelines.
• Exceptional administrative skills, with the ability to navigate multiple concurrent events through various lifecycle phases without losing focus.
• Technical aptitude and a history of leveraging automation and AI to enhance workflow efficiency and the reliability of project outcomes.
Bonus Points
• Previous involvement with mobile gaming, live-service products, or similarly dynamic digital environments where agility is paramount.
• Proficiency in navigating data and digital platforms to diagnose complex challenges and substantiate strategic decision-making.
• Demonstrated history of implementing AI solutions and automation to optimize operational workflows and elevate team-wide productivity.
