Job Title Senior Scientist – AI in Computed Tomography Image Formation (all genders) Job Description In this role, you will work as a top expert in applying artificial intelligence to CT image formation, reconstruction and denoising. You will create AI-based clinical solutions focused on CT image quality, dose utilization, noise reduction and image reconstruction to increase diagnostic confidence and enable new clinical insights.

Develop, implement and validate innovative AI-based CT image formation solutions, including reconstruction and denoising of conventional, spectral and photon-counting CT data. Apply your expertise in AI and data science, especially deep learning, to high spatial and temporal resolution reconstruction, image denoising and dose reduction techniques. Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and methods within defined project roadmaps. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to translate results into clinically meaningful innovation. You should bring the following: PhD in AI, data science or informatics, or equivalent outstanding expertise and relevant experience. Several years of relevant work experience. Extensive expertise in AI and data science, CNNs, statistical and machine-learning libraries such as NumPy or PyTorch, data analytics and AI tools/agents for analysis and prototyping. Strong programming skills, especially Python and C++. Experience with deep learning, for example training convolutional neural networks, preferably in medical imaging and computed tomography. Clinical understanding of medical imaging, predominantly CT. Ability to provide technical guidance, shape technical direction and influence technology and product decisions in global development programs. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in international and interdisciplinary environments. English proficiency required, German is a plus. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you will have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations. This role is eligible for Short Term Incentive, with your rewards linked to individual performance and company results.
