Job Description
AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Philadelphia on October 7-8, 2026. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027. The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines. On Thursday, interviews will take place at our Philadelphia office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities. AECOM is actively seeking a skilled new graduate to join our Digital EHS Practice. Our work is interdisciplinary, so a wide variety of majors are acceptable. This position supports clients by providing implementation, configuration, guidance, and support for software to protect the environment and keep workers safe. A successful candidate will have a passion for sustainability and safety while demonstrating strong technical skills and a desire to learn and adopt new technologies to meet project requirements. The position also requires work in both self-directed and team-based collaboration scenarios where critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential. Responsibilities include: Configure, extend, and modify software used for environmental and safety purposes. Create automation solutions and dashboards. Understand what clients need from their EHS solutions and work with specialists to present options for how to accomplish it. Suggest innovative solutions for client requirements. Initiate contact with mentors and coworkers to work through problems and questions. Engage with coworkers and clients throughout the US and Canada as well as a local AECOM office to build understanding of the business.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Environmental Science or Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related degree. Coursework or internships involving procedure automation, such as with Microsoft PowerApps or a similar product.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
