This is a general job description and represents multiple openings in various departments. Honda offers both single and multi-semester co-ops and internships. College students must apply to the requisition pertaining to their major and semester of interest.

The descriptions below reflect potential environments and duties within our various Engineering Co-op/Intern positions that we offer. Work environments and projects may include but are not limited to:

Manufacturing & Operations

• Support equipment, process, quality, and new model activities within manufacturing areas such as Assembly, Weld, Paint, Stamping, Casting, and Machining

• Installation of new tooling including designing and building end of arm tooling, mold installation, process maturation and robot programming

• Assist with project management activities, schedules, and tracking daily processes

• Analyze manufacturing problems and support root cause investigations

• Research new technologies and help implement improvement countermeasures

• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues during installation, testing, and production
