Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing refinery electrical systems including:

medium voltage switchgear and motor control centers, 600-volt switchgear and motor control centers, electric motors, motor control circuits, lighting and power circuits, bucket truck operation, conduit installation

Working schedule is normally days, Monday through Friday. However, it will involve some night, weekend, and overtime work to support the 24-hour operation of the Refinery Working effectively in a team environment

What You’ll Bring – Required

*The tentative start date for this position is January 2027. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.    Compensation  This position has a starting hourly contract rate of $54.05. Future pay increases will be based on the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.    The Ponca City Refinery is located in Ponca City, Oklahoma, approximately 95 miles northwest of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Its facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units. The refinery processes a mixture of light, medium and heavy crude oil delivered via pipeline from Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, the U.S. Rockies and Canada. Infrastructure improvements have enabled the delivery of locally produced crude oil by pipeline and truck. The refinery produces a high percentage of transportation fuels and anode-grade petroleum coke.
