 OVERVIEW The Sanitation Line Lead is responsible for overseeing and guiding the daily sanitation operations and team members across both facilities. This role ensures that all cleaning and sanitation activities are performed efficiently, safely, and in strict adherence to company standards, regulatory requirements, and sanitation schedules, contributing directly to product quality and food safety. More information on scheduling will be provided during the interview process Plant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead and develop a team of Sanitation Technicians, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Manage and maintain the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) for both facilities, assigning daily and weekly cleaning tasks and optimizing resource allocation. Ensure strict compliance with all company safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements. Conduct and document team training on sanitation procedures, chemical handling, and equipment operation. Oversee chemical management, including daily concentration verification, maintenance of dispensing systems, and inventory control. Perform regular audits of sanitation tasks, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with other departments (Production, Quality, Maintenance) to resolve sanitation-related issues and support overall operational goals. Ensure proper labeling and signage for all chemical containers and maintain up-to-date Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Operate sanitation and material handling equipment as needed, and ensure proper and safe operation by the team Provide coaching and feedback for team members Foster a positive and safe work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement
