About this role

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Team Lead Seismic (2nd Shift).  The hourly rate for this position is  $32.30 + .50 Shift Differential  per hour.   CORE HOURS:  2:30PM - 11PM   Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  What you’ll do: 
 Eaton is looking for a Team Lead to support the 2nd shift Production Team within its manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production activities, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are consistently met. . In this function you will:  
 Lead a team responsible for the assembly and packaging of high-volume industrial infrastructure products. Train, coach, and develop team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Drive achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives. Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce resources to meet daily production targets. Utilize SAP, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment to support production flow, inventory accuracy, and order completion. Interpret and work from blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications. Maintain production equipment, tooling, and work areas in accordance with established standards. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures. Support cross-functional initiatives that improve plant performance and employee engagement.

Criteria:   Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Ability to collaborate across departments and support site-wide initiatives. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.   Qualifications: 
 Required (Basic) Qualifications:  Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or technical equivalent from an accredited institution Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience. Previous leadership or supervisory experience with direct responsibility for team performance. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance. Experience using manufacturing tools, fixtures, gauges, and measurement equipment. Forklift experience, including material staging, delivery, and inventory management. Working knowledge of SAP or similar manufacturing systems. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications

Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Demonstrates ability to promote a positive teamwork culture and champion company core values. Demonstrates the ability to accept coaching constructively and interact respectfully with colleagues at all levels. Strong organizational skills with the ability to delegate tasks, plan workflows, and schedule resources effectively. Ability to learn and apply manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures. Ability to understand detailed written and/or oral instructions. Able to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOM), work orders, and scales to ensure accurate production and material usage.
