Standard Job Description You will be the Financial Management Staff for the Sniper Program Finance Team. Our team is responsible for cost‑control, earned‑value management, and advanced financial analytics supporting the Sniper program.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Financial Management Staff you will be responsible for forecasting, tracking, and reporting the program’s financial performance across multiple contract types. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop and maintain program budgets, funding plans, and long‑range projections (LRP) while producing quarterly CSR and monthly outlooks with EAC. Conduct variance analysis on orders, sales, EBIT, and cash flow, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities and delivering corrective‑action recommendations. Support government audits, external compliance reviews, and internal checks to ensure adherence to FAR, CAS, and US GAAP. Translate multi‑system financial data into actionable insights and visualizations for program managers, business‑operations teams, and senior leadership. Drive continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies, automation opportunities, and analytic enhancements. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires selected candidate to possess ability to obtain a Secret clearance Basic Qualifications Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Business related discipline (i.e. Finance, Accounting, Economics) Proficiency with Cost analysis including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and Earned Value Management (EVM) Skilled in high-volume data management, precise validation, and analytical review Mastery of MS tool set (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc) Familiarity with Accounting/Financial Systems (SAP S4, Oracle, Hyperion, Cobra, etc) Understanding of Cost Structures (direct, indirect, overhead for 1LMX) and Financial Exposure Authorization management, and for CAS Compliance, Reporting and Billing reviews Experience managing multiple contract types (fixed ‑ price, cost ‑ plus, time ‑ and ‑ material, etc) Risk identification & mitigation Experience supporting internal, external and USG audits Demonstrated capabilities with presentation skills, written reporting and continuous improvement initiatives Strong communication skills, vertically and across multiple functional disciplines Desired Skills Expertise in Financial modeling (Advanced Excel, VBA, Power Query) and Business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) Competence with interface to IT developers for requirements identification, UAT and implementation/conversions. Knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS), ASC-606 Revenue Recognition including management of projects with consolidated contract financial reporting and Federal Regulations (FAR, DFARs, etc.) Ability to multi-task and lead challenging assignments with multiple stakeholders that demonstrates high business acumen Use of AI in a business environment Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
