Raytheon is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager with a successful background in Supply Chain to fill a critical Sr Manager Material Program Manager (MPM) role. The MPM serves as the leader for all program’s supply chain activities and is the liaison between the Program Manager(s), Integrated Product Team (IPT) and other functional leads, and the Supply Chain organization. This position requires an individual who will be able to exert impact and influence the overall goals of the program and the program IPT team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams, balancing tactical work with managing projects, and capable of successfully interfacing with varying levels of management.
What You Will Do
Provide resources, training, and talent management to the team. Owns the execution of material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP). Drive impact and influence program planning, financial goals, building teams. Review and approve gating activities, EACs, Risk Register, engineering boards, proposal strategies, supply base messaging. Work cross-functionally to resolve supplier or material issues Report status related to supplier and material needs to various leadership teams at varying levels: Tier 1-3. Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally as required.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience Experience managing and/or leading a team Qualifications We Prefer: Supply chain experience in the Aerospace or Defense Industry Experience coordinating strategies and managing tactical execution Prime proposal, negotiation experience, TINA compliance experience Financial acumen, budget management, EAC experience International Supply Chain experience What We Offer Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
