Consider a career-changing move to our EY Capital Markets team in London. Our Capital Markets team is the leading practice of its kind in any professional services firm globally. It provides assurance and related services to clients accessing the capital markets. We provide regulatory and reporting advice with a focus on the United States of America (US) and United Kingdom (UK). For example, launching an initial public offering (IPO), US GAAP conversions, PE/M&A transactions and implementing SOX. The opportunity This is a high-profile role working with some of our most interesting clients and offers an exciting opportunity to further develop your technical and project management skills. We are seeking US or UK qualified accountants with PCAOB and SEC auditing and reporting experience who are looking to broaden their experience across capital markets transactions and financial reporting matters. You will benefit from exposure to our SEC foreign private issuers and private companies preparing for a US IPO while working alongside experienced Capital Markets professionals. Your key responsibilities
Utilizing your skills with PCAOB audits, US GAAP, SOX and SEC reporting. Supporting the delivery of technical accounting and capital markets advisory engagements. Managing workstreams and coordinating project activities under the direction of senior team members. Coaching and developing junior team members and supporting engagement delivery. Building your network internationally. Contributing to business development initiatives, proposals and thought leadership activities.

As you build on your knowledge and experience of PCAOB, US GAAP and SEC accounting and reporting requirements, you will become a trusted advisor to clients and engagement teams.\ To qualify for the role, you must have
Fully qualified as a US CPA or UK equivalent. 3-5 years' PCAOB audit experience. Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with baseline IFRS. Experience providing services to clients undertaking capital raising activities. Demonstrated project management and team coordination skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
