Northrop Grumman's Mission Systems has an immediate need for a Principal Manufacturing Analyst to act as a Lead for our Production Team located in Linthicum, MD. The successful candidate will have strong communication, organizational and analytical skills with a history of problem resolution as well as process improvement efforts. Experience working with leadership in cross-functional teams and effective communication with internal and external customers. This role will support the MD&F Cell, Cell Metrics and Dynamic Production Scheduling (DPS), as well as assist with overlooking the MESA Program and a variety of smaller programs that move across the area. What You’ll Get to Do: Serve as a Lead Planner for P&MC organization, coordinating the production planning function across multiple shifts within the MD&F cell Drive the timely flow of product through the MD&F cell to support internal and external customer delivery requirements Effective interface between various support & management functions within P&MC, Manufacturing & Program Operations, Global Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Engineering, and Quality organizations Consolidate, analyze, and organize production data to provide effective and efficient status of hardware through manufacturing processes, including kit conversions, manufacturing processes, and final delivery of hardware to internal and/or external customers Track and report P&MC Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including On Time to Release (OTTR), Last Touch (LT), Out of Cycle (OOC), On Time to Finish (OTTF), etc Lead execution across MD&F cell to drive down Aging Orders, Overdue hours, 'Confirmed not Delivered' orders, floor stock inventory control, Missing in Action (MIA), Not in Location (NIL) orders, and resolving material shortages Lead collaboration with Manufacturing Analysts/Planners on P&MC planning, scheduling, and visibility tools Act as advisor, assisting P&MC Management on Continuous Improvement projects Develop presentations and lead reporting for the P&MC Commodities organization Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control or Business Coordination; Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control or Business Coordination; 9 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control or Business Coordination may be considered in Lieu of degree requirement Experience working with SAP/ERP or other related systems Experience Leading/Coaching people and/or projects Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Level Security
