Grade Level (for internal use): 05 About the Role:   Are you passionate about financial markets, quantitative analysis, and data-driven problem solving?     The Index Engineering team at S&P Dow Jones Indices develops bespoke index solutions for institutional clients across global financial markets. This internship offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of finance, quantitative research, and technology, supporting projects that contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of innovative investment indices.   T his role focuses primarily on financial data exploration, index research, quantitative analysis, and process improvement, where Python is used as an analytical tool to solve business problems.     This internship is ideal for students interested in building careers in Quantitative Finance, Index Engineering, Financial Analytics, Investment Research, or Financial Engineering. It is also suitable for those with a technical background who are looking to transition into quantitative finance.

The Index Engineering team designs and develops bespoke equity indices for institutional clients across global financial markets.
