THE JOB: The primary responsibility of the Lead Mutuel Clerk is to assist guests with placing wagers on horse racing and sporting events from around the globe. Y ou will help oversee daily operations alongside the Sportsbook Supervisor and set the standard for an unmatched guest experience. THE STARTING RATE:  $18.00 Per Hour + Tips THE DAY-TO-DAY: Assist the supervisor with daily operations ensuring company compliance and procedures, verifying cash drawers, completing reports, rating casino customer activity, and monitoring race and sports book for suspicious activity Monitor all tickets written, cashed, voided and monies wagered during his/her shift ​ Maintain and reconcile a cash bank; responsible for accepting payment and making correct change when necessary Make payments on winning tickets in an accurate and timely manner; verify tickets and payoffs Handle writing/cashiering in accordance with department policy and procedures Verify LED boards are correct and verify accuracy of guest informational sheets; provide guest informational sheets Responsible for mobile app sign up and guest service responding, kiosk maintenance, and problem solving Ensure the protection of customer’s rewards and adherence to credit lines THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: High School Diploma or GED required 1+ Year of prior relevant experience in Race and Sportsbook or related casino area required Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required THE PERKS & BENEFITS: Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more!
