By applying the highest standards of business ethics and a forward-thinking mindset, we believe everything is within our reach – and yours -- as a Lockheed Martin employee.   This role will offer you the following daily challenges: Responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs.  Leads multifunctional subcontract management teams.  Holds procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority. Leads the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions including price, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts and required change activity. Responsible for collecting data for team and reporting to leadership. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility one of the Coolest places to work:   Denver, Colorado , and be expected to work in the office. Basic Qualifications 
 To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education 4+  years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e… Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, proposal, and/or Category Management) Desired Skills 
 To be effective, ideally, you should also have: Highly organized and goal‑oriented team player  Excels at juggling multiple projects and competing priorities  Brings strong subcontract‑management experience  Consistently engages suppliers to drive tasks to successful completion  Fosters enthusiasm and positivity in the work environment.  Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
