This role is part of the Growth Markets Autonomy team focused on development and deployment full autonomy solutions across Cat & SEM, regionally focused on Africa, the Middle East, Eurasia, Asia (excluding Japan), and Latin America (LATAM) to deliver customer outcomes. •    Role Definition Responsible to provide managerial and technical direction to a staff of management personnel engaged in product and design, development of autonomous solution leveraging the autonomy common platform and base machine drive-by-wire system to deliver the end-to-end solution for variety of customers and applications. Responsibilities • Set up machine architecture and systems long term strategy, recruit and develop team members to meet the short term and long term goals.  •    Lead a team on machine system design and development, verification and validation, and NTI/NPI/CPI, aftermarket and other projects to implement autonomy common platform for variety of machine platforms and customer applications. •    Tracking and monitoring our commitments to clients first level project plans, owning processes, guiding the definition of work processes, facilitating the acquisition of tools, physical resources, and intellectual capital, building teams, conducting technical reviews and managing budget and capital spending.  •    Lead on the technology trend for machine integration includes software verification & validation, and new technology development such as automation and autonomy, electrification, hydrogen fuel cell, and other alternative energy solutions.  Degree Requirement Degree required Skill Descriptors Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
