Responsibilities include
Strategic Planning & Inventory: Apply integrated buyer planning skills to translate demand signals into global inventory strategies for direct materials (mold compound, Epoxy…). Balance working capital efficiency with supply assurance to support production ramp-ups and mitigate shortage. Think beyond day-to-day procurement. Anticipate future demand scenarios and develop strategic supply plans that secure supplier capacity and de-risk the supply chain. Global Stakeholder Influence & Project Management: Lead cross-regional GPDC (Geopolitical Dependency) & Supply related qualifications. Use project management discipline to drive timelines, manage dependencies, and influence global stakeholders without direct authority. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes—from demand detection to PO execution. Identify inefficiencies, implement scalable solutions, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
