What you will be doing
You will be on a development pathway to prepare you to be a Systems Engineer Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and can expect to be involved in the following; With the acceleration of digital technology , the trends in the aircraft cabin industry are strongly and rapidly evolving for offering wireless services, establishing Internet of Things as standard means to monitor and control the cabin systems and providing connectivity inside the cabin and outside to the ground via satellite communication. Consequently Airbus has launched several strategic development projects in this area for the upcoming 5 to 7 years. Model-Based Systems Engineering and Agile methodology will be the cornerstone of our ways of working. For these projects, we are looking for Systems Engineers bringing a strong interest and potentially some first experience and knowledge on Model-Based Systems Engineering. Appetite and first experience with AGILE ways of working You will be involved in key projects within the Airbus cabin and cargo perimeter and you will have the responsibility to define, design and develop aircraft systems in cooperation with system specialists and external suppliers. This includes mastering the product technology, specification, design, certification and in-service support as well as collaboration with internal departments / functions, subcontractors and external suppliers. Working autonomously you are responsible for the definition and execution of your tasks. You ensure that the objectives of the project are achieved in time, cost and quality.
