Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.     This  Senior Support Engineer - TRACE supports HVAC solutions through the customer support, testing, and commercialization of cutting-edge commercial building HVAC design & simulation software as part of the Trane Customer Driven Solutions (C.D.S.) support team. Core Job Responsibilities (others may be added): ·    Provide direct Technical Support to Engineering and Contractor customers using TRACE and other CDS tools ·    Mentor other CDS Support engineers on technical issues, software questions, HVAC knowledge ·    Acting as a subject matter expert for assigned systems and special assignments ·    Assist with Product Development of TRACE by providing input to requirements, feeding VOC pipeline through support channels, etc. ·    Train internal and external customers on new or yet to be released features. Develop new training video and in-person content. ·    Collaborate with the CDS Sales team on initiatives to improve the customer experience ·    Leverage internal software tools and AI models to improve productivity and accuracy of technical support, including creating and owning new tools ·    Executing and planning regression tests, functional software/user-acceptance tests, and data tests ·    Limited overnight travel is required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, or related degree preferred with at least 5 years’ experience in new product development, contract engineering, consulting engineering, MEP design, or building energy modeling undefined Strong computer skills using MS Office Suite and other Windows programs required Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required Familiarity with BIM tools (i.e. Revit) Expert knowledge of HVAC products and systems Knowledge of commercial building construction industry is a plus Understanding of applied mathematics and numerical modeling techniques Experience in a customer-facing technical role Familiarity with building energy modeling tools Experience with AI models Knowledge of software limitations and capabilities related to technologies and design approaches used in real buildings Understanding of the software development process. Experience with Agile practices is desired Knowledge of AI-enabled development practices, building Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $97,406.66 - $135,834.99 Compensation Type:
