Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Material Support Specialist - Repair Station to join our team in Beltsville, MD! The core hours are 7 am - 3 pm, M-F. The hourly rate for this position is $25.00 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: Primary Shipping/Receiving Functions: • Inspect parts, verify lot numbers, and perform packaging and receiving of shipments • Process shipments to customer specific requirements including generating certification of compliance • Package parts/material and print labels for shipments to customers and external vendors. • Interact with all necessary carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) • Interact with customer service, team leaders and quality to solve any order issues or requirements. • Help resolve more complex MRP requirements issues Primary Stock Room / Kitting Functions: • Receives and verifies lot numbers on components into stock room • Issues components and/or tools or fixtures to the manufacturing floor from what is called out in the router/ Call or what is requested by the technicians. • Monitor the stock/inventory in order to ensure on time delivery. • Perform inventory cycle counts • Help resolve more complex MRP requirements issues Other Functions: • Create a call order as during receiving of product • Participate in continuous improvement of processes. • Work in accordance with general safety rules and practices. • Perform all 5S+ activities and keep immediate area compliant Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualification: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution. • Minimum of (2) two years of experience in inventory control, kitting and/or shipping in a manufacturing environment • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
