Raytheon's opening is for a Test and Validation Engineer, in Operations and Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineering Services. This position is based in Forest, MS, and will support production and testing of complex electronic systems, units and modules associated with military radar and communications products.
What You Will Do
Development and maintenance of Test Procedures. Root cause analysis and resolution of test failures (hardware and test environment). Maintenance of related STE (Special Test Equipment), and specify replacement equipment when required (obsolescence) Train technicians to use Test Procedures and provide written directions for trouble shooting instruction Transform complex information and data into clear, concise, and visually engaging slides. Train entry level Test Engineers on test process Some travel will be required.
Qualifications
You Must Have Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) obtained by start date Experience working in a lab environment with standard EE lab equipment (i.e., Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, or signal sources) Experience with Microsoft Office tools The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance *Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Qualifications
