Group 1 Automotive is actively hiring Lube Technicians for our Tulsa-area dealerships, including South Pointe Honda, South Pointe Chevrolet, South Pointe Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and BMW of Tulsa.

As a Lube Technician, you'll play a critical role in keeping customer vehicles safe, reliable, and performing at their best. You'll work alongside experienced technicians in a fast-paced dealership environment while learning the foundations of automotive maintenance, inspections, and repair.
We're looking for dependable, motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to grow. This position offers a clear pathway to advancement, including opportunities to become a Certified Technician or Main Line Technician.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges, and filter replacements while meeting dealership and manufacturer standards. Complete comprehensive digital multi-point inspections to identify maintenance needs and help ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance. Inspect critical vehicle components including tires, brakes, batteries, filters, fluids, suspension components, and other key systems. Create photo and video inspection reports that provide customers with a transparent view of their vehicle's condition and recommended services. Accurately document inspection findings, maintenance recommendations, and completed services using dealership technology and digital reporting tools. Handle customer vehicles with care and professionalism while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment that supports productivity and teamwork. Follow all company safety policies, manufacturer guidelines, and service department procedures. Promptly report damaged tools, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management. Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a customer-first mindset while supporting dealership goals and company values.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver license. Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine, brakes, tires, fluids) Ability to perform routine maintenance services, including: Oil and filter changes Tire rotation and pressure checks Fluid checks and top‑offs (transmission, coolant, brake, power steering) Battery testing and replacement Visual inspections of belts, hoses, and filters Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
