Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector (NGAS) has an opening for a Manager Industrial Security 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Security organization. This leadership role is located in Melbourne, FL. The Manager Industrial Security 2 will have the responsibility of developing and administering security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment, which will include the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities: Lead a team of security professionals to ensure consistent application of the leadership characteristics that are expected of all employees within the organization in a high intensity, fast-paced environment. Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Develop and implement security education programs. Oversee internal security audits. Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Provide directions to security team members to assist with the execution of their statement of work. Assist with team members' professional development and growth. Ensure employee engagement and collaboration across teams within the Security organization. Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development/mentoring to professionals at all levels. Develop and implement security policy and standards across the program enterprise. Ensure all program performance objectives as well as key milestones and deliverables are met. Manage a security budget within an established target. Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions to include Physical Security, COMSEC, Investigations, and Document Control Management.
