Purpose
As Lead, Sourcing Services, you will drive efficiency and quality in Newmont’s sourcing operations. You’ll set performance standards, guide supplier decisions, and lead a team that supports a sustainable, cost-effective global supply chain.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
• Establish and monitor sourcing standards and performance metrics.
• Provide insights for supplier selection, risk evaluation, and relationship management.
• Deliver sourcing solutions and cost analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Track supplier performance in quality, reliability, sustainability, and delivery.
• Implement digital tools and workflow enhancements.
• Oversee governance, audits, and data quality initiatives.
• Train and coach team members and business users on sourcing processes.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
• Advanced ERP/SAP (Ariba preferred) and sourcing performance skills.
• 5+ years in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, including leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of P2P processes, supply chain life cycles, and sourcing regulations.
• Proven ability to improve operations through data-driven decision-making.
• Strong collaboration, negotiation, and coaching skills.
